Fire Risk Assessment

Since the introduction of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 fire certificates are no longer issued. Instead onus falls onto the ‘Responsible Person’ to take appropriate action to prevent fire and protect building users in the event of a fire. It is essential that you keep the assessment under review and revise it where necessary. It is best practice to ensure your current fire risk assessment is updated periodically to encompass on-going changes in the building structure, relevant persons and other mitigating factors. If you have over five employees, are a licenced premise this assessment must be documented. Fire Risk Assessment

ADF Support Services Ltd will carry out the statutorily required Fire Risk Assessment of your workplace and compile a detailed evaluation of your exposure to fire risk which would include:

  • Assessing the risk to life
  • Completing a full audit of the risk hazards
  • Supplying you with a severity risk rating to give a clear understanding of where action is needed
  • Preparing a detailed action plan, including short-term and long-term timeframes to create achievable objectives to fire safety compliance

Risk Management

ADF Support Services Ltd will assist our clients in reviewing their workplace hazards and accompanying risks and provide a documented assessment on what should be done to mitigate those risks so far as reasonably practicable.

The risk assessment process will cover all areas of operations including activities undertaken, equipment / machinery operated and materials and substances used.

Construction Design and Management Regulations 2015 (CDM 2015)

The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 provide the legal framework to ensure health and safety within the construction industry is carried out to a minimum standard. ADF Support Services Ltd are specifically insured, trained and experienced to provide CDM consultancy services having had over 25 years operating in the construction industry. Consultancy services are offered in a number of ways including:
  • Providing Principal Designer services, to assist Clients and Principal Designers in discharging their duties under CDM
  • Carry out an independent review of the health and safety on your construction sites to ensure the legal obligations of all involved under CDM 2015, including moral obligations to the people on site are complied with
